Certified Public Consultant on Social and Labor Insurance (Shakai Hoken Roumishi) and Administrative Lawyer (Gyousei Shoshi) Eri Wakamatsu offers free first-time consultations regarding labor issues and residency requirements in Japanese or English to foreign residents living in Japan.
Ms. Wakamatsu holds national certifications in the legal areas of labor and social insurance, and has extensive knowledge of immigration procedures. Please read the following before requesting an appointment.
First-time consultations will be provided with a general explanation of
Japanese labor laws and practices and immigration law. The Wakamatsu Immigrationand Labor Consulting Office is not responsible for any damages which may be incurred by consulters or other third parties based on the use of general information provided at free consultations. Please be aware that only basic information regarding Japanese labor law and practices and residency requirements will be provided at the free consultation.
First-time consultations are free. Further inquiries, document
preparation and handling of procedures, however, will be charged according to this office’s regular fee schedule. The decision about whether to request further customized guidance after your first-time free consultation is entirely yours. Rest assured that you will not be pushed into purchasing services you don’t want.
If you decide to request additional assistance, you will first be provided with a clear quotation to be approved by you before we begin any
work.
Free consultations will be given in person only. Consultations by
only email or telephone call will not be accepted. Japanese citizens may request consultations as well, but they must be accompanied by the foreign citizen for whom the consultation is requested.
